Neiman Group Hires Amy Muntz to Lead Strategic Planning
HARRISBURG, PA (December 17, 2007) - Amy Muntz, who for 20 years has helped high-profile clients such as Panasonic, Tylenol and DuPont to establish powerful brand messages that resonate with consumers, has been named Neiman Group's first Vice President of Strategic Planning.
"Amy is a perfect storm of expertise," said Tim Reeves, President of Neiman Group. "She is a creative thinker, a tremendous researcher, a brilliant observer of consumer trends and a savvy businesswoman. A true leader in her field, and we're thrilled to have Amy on our agency leadership team."
Muntz first began her relationship with Neiman Group in 2005, consulting on accounts such as the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and Temple University.
"For years I have been privileged to witness the heart and soul of this 'little agency that could,'" said Muntz. "The people of Neiman Group have an endless energy for new ideas. I just couldn't refuse an opportunity to work in this remarkable environment."
This latest hire comes in a succession of additions Neiman Group has made since October 2006 when Executive Creative Director, Jeff Odiorne joined the agency. In the past 14 months the agency has added five new creative positions; hired two public relations account representatives, announced nine internal promotions, moved their Web and interactive services in-house, and launched a new off-line innovative service segment.
The addition of Muntz as V.P. of Planning exemplifies Neiman Group's commitment to research-based planning for its clients.
"One of the things that I am most excited about when it comes to the meteoric potential of Neiman Group is working alongside a true intellectual like Amy Muntz," said Odiorne. "Amy is a talented, imaginative and brave strategic mind. But best of all she brings the human element to her process."
Muntz is a graduate of Duke University with degrees in both Economics and Psychology—an unusual combination that has produced extraordinary strategic thinking.
